Designed and taught a course for students completing media internships in New York City, using interdisciplinary approaches to examine identity and structures of power in media as well as historical and theoretical perspectives.

Designed and taught a course in which students gain a foundational understanding of visual and photography studies in order to understand how visual codes work in the present.

Designed and taught a course in which students work towards developing their own conceptual feminist framework and action plan.
2017-2018. “The Gendered Body: Horror and the Grotesque,” (online), Women’s & Gender Studies, Rutgers University.
Created and taught an online course in which students engage the genre and form of the horror film towards an understanding of the ways in which bodies have been constructed.

Designed course of study and led two sections per semester of a required university writing course, with an emphasis on reading comprehension, thesis and argument development.

Designed and taught a course in which students interrogate the science of gender as well as science as gendered, the history of science, and science fiction as a site of producing knowledge.
